All 3 Major Indexes Retreated On the Day; The NASDAQ Declines On the Week

All 3 major indices lost ground today; the NASDAQ was the only major to lose ground on the week. 1,921,507,050 shares were traded @ The New York Stock Exchange®.

For the week, the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) gained 1.2%, the NASDAQ Composite Index fell by 0.8%, and the S + P 500 Index gained 0.3%.
