The 3 Majors Advanced On Bullishness Related to Interest Rates
The 3 major indices advanced today: comments by Federal Reserve boss Ben Bernanke related to the deflating housing market triggered a rise in speculation that the Fed will opt to lower interest rates early next year. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) crossed the 11,800 mark for the first time, closing at a brand new, all-time record high of 11,850.61.
