All 3 Major Indexes Advanced On The Week
The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) and the Standard & Poor's 500 Index both advanced today, with the DJIA hitting a brand new, all-time record high close, but the NASDAQ Composite lost some ground as investors reacted to crude oil for future delivery jumping back up near $59 per barrel, and to a discouraging October Housing Starts report released by the Commerce Department this morning.
