Each of The 3 Major Indexes Lost Over 4% This Week

All 3 major indices lost over 4% this week, as investors got anxious about the state of the market for large corporate loans and news that the market for new and used homes hasn't improved. Crude oil for future delivery ended the week at $77.02 per barrel. The yield on the ten-year treasury note fell to 4.788% while the dollar gained some ground against the euro.

2,010,098,840 shares were traded @ The New York Stock Exchange® today.

For the week, the DJIA lost 585.61 points, the NASDAQ Composite Index lost 125.36 points, and the S and P 500 Index lost 75.15 points.
