All 3 Majors Advanced On The Week Despite Oil @ $126

All 3 major indexes advanced on the week despite crude oil closing above the $126 per barrel mark. Investors reacted positively to encouraging news related to inflation and retail sales.

For the week, the DJIA gained 240.92 points (+1.89%), the NASDAQ Composite Index added 83.33 (+3.407%), and the S&P 500 Index advanced by 37.07 points (+2.67%).
